Peter's House

Our main teaching and learning tool, is the Holy Spirit and God's Word. With that said you'll probably
conclude to yourself, that these people have NO FORMAL teaching, so why would I want to listen or
even waste any more of my time here.
That's exactly WHY you will stay, to see if God has raised up the foolish to confound the wise! Here me,
O men of God, Pay close attention to what God has spoken, and REPENT, turn from your evil (lazy) way
of walking in or leading His flock, and receive the Holy Spirit! Receive, be baptised and consumed by
His Holy Fire, it is NOT by our strenght, power and might, but by His Spirit, says the Lord!

I chose Peter for a specific reason; to demonstrate God's power through him, NOT his slendid array of
degrees in Biblical Studies, Theology, and Seminary. Peter was a fisherman, had no formal course of study,
and was probably one of the ones whom the most changes and transformation took place. Peter, looking
back on his life, would more than likely agree with that statement. I am sure, even though he bumbled his
way through training each day he walked with Jesus, his charactor was being honed into his redeeming
glory, and would later prove out to be his standing achievement for his Godly life.

My wife and I have had NO formal education similiar to Peter, but have spent quality time with our savior
Jesus, and have gleaned considerable amounts of education, training, and preparation from the Holy
Spirit and other Godly people. Other areas of studies have included mid-east culture, pouring out of the
Holy Spirit, the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit, Prayer and the need of prayer on a daily basis, and the
transformation of a life daily walking with Christ. We've been part of several church plants, individually
and corporately, and are daily devoted to Him, His teachings, and weekly service at a local convalescent
care facility.

Paul writes in 1 Cor 2:1-5, 'When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior
wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with
you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling.
My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the
Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.' This Peter, who
seems to be a chagrin to theologians, Bible scholars, and divinity experts, emulates more of the reflective
light and power of Jesus Christ than most listed in Biblical history, other than Jesus Himself. Peter's
bumbling, shows us God's grace for us! The power Paul was describing, Peter walked in, 'people brought
the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some
of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and
those tormented by evil spirits, and all of them were healed.' Does that sound like someone who has let
down, disppointed or humilated Jesus in any way? God's grace was indeed sufficient for Peter.

Take heed of this point, O mighty men of God. Many of you leaders are under a curse of an impression that
'bigger is better', but your motives are wrongfully placed. Bigger to you means more tithes, so you go about
trying and seeing how to build your church into something bigger. Try Peter's way! In Acts 2:41 and again
in Acts 4:4, the number of the church grew by 3000 people, and 5000 people. His message wasn't to difficult,
Repent, and receive forgiveness, and be baptised by the Holy Spirit. Not bad for an uneducated fisherman
with God's blessing of the expertise in church building.

In your life, with your life, knowing full well that Jesus lives and dwells within you, it is our utmost desire
that you would come to the full realization of Christ living in you, and receive this revelation that it is a
most true statement, 'I CAN do all things through Christ, who strenghtens me.' Learn and acquire this,
'SEEK YE first the Kingdom of God and it's righteousness, and then ALL things will be added unto you,'
its salvational grace, its granduer, its spaciousness, its miracles, and its peace. I would desire that even an
ounce of Peter's spirit would flow through your blood, than you to stand before your congregation
purporting the daily news, or giving any message NOT WORTHY of Jesus' Life, Death, and Resurrection.
